Terms and Conditions
The Seller means Discount Landscaping Supplies. Registered address: Newlands Farm, Tanners Lane. Fareham. PO14 2HT.
The Customer means any person contracting with the company for the supply of products or services.
Delivery means delivery by the company or any subcontractor employed by the company directly or indirectly.
Submission of a purchase order online will be taken as agreement to these conditions of sale.
The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions between the Seller and the Customer and any order will be acceptance of such terms and conditions, together with any amendments. Alterations to these terms and conditions will only be accepted if expressly agreed in writing prior to any purchase. Failure to comply with these terms and conditions, or any revised terms and conditions as the Seller may have imposed may result in the refusal to supply products.
Supply of products
Products are sold under the express understanding that:
The Customer is fully made aware of conditions of sale regarding natural products. We cannot guarantee that the appearance and/or colours of products shown on this site exactly reproduce the appearance and/or colours of the physical products themselves. Natural products may show some colour variations and t he Customer acknowledges that such variance is acceptable. All sizes quoted are approximate.
The Customer fully understands that turf is a perishable product, which must be properly laid on properly prepared ground with no risk to drought and adequately watered within 6 hours of delivery if conditions are dry.
The company require any complaint to be made in writing by the Customer within 48 hours of collection or delivery. If the Customer is dissatisfied with the product then it must be returned to the company within 5 working days after the complaint has been logged. A refund will then be made for the original purchase price.
Customers are required to pay by credit card/debit card at the time of ordering.
Prices quoted are inclusive of VAT.
Prices quoted are exclusive of delivery.
Any advice given by the Seller or its employees in regards to the application, storage or use of any goods is followed entirely at the Customer’s own risk and the Seller shall not be liable for any problems that arise due to incorrect installation of any goods supplied.
Delivery costs will be provided at the time of purchase and will form part of the purchase price. Delivery charges can vary depending on postal codes, weight of products, day of delivery, sizes of packaging and type of delivery vehicle required.
The company will make every effort to deliver on the agreed date, but if for any reason the company is unable to deliver then no liability whether in damages or otherwise for delay of whole or any part of the goods ordered arising from any cause whatsoever.
Delivery by the company shall be conditional upon access free from encumbrances and good roads being available to the company’s vehicles to the place of delivery.
The company will not accept any liability for damages to property caused during delivery.
If the company, or its agent cannot gain access to the delivery address then additional costs may be incurred. Deliveries are made using large vehicles and it is the Customer’s responsibility to inform the company if there may be an access problem. The company will confirm the outcome by e-mail. In such cases that delivery, in the opinion of the company is not possible, then the company reserves the right to cancel the order.
Delivery vehicles use crane offloading, and it must be emphasized that the delivery vehicle must be able to park in an area where the delivery is to be made. The Customer, or somebody appointed by the Customer, should be at the delivery point to accept the delivery. If previously arrange with the Seller, deliveries can be left without the Customer being present but the Seller cannot accept any responsibility for incorrect delivery, loss or damaged of goods after the time of delivery.
The Customer shall inform the Seller immediately if any of the goods have been damaged during haulage, or there is any shortfall in the order, the delivery note provided by the haulage contractor must be marked with this information.
All goods purchased by the Customer can be returned within 7 days of the delivery or purchase date which ever is latest and the Customer will be refunded in full on confirmation that the goods are in the same conditions as when delivered or taken from the premises. If collection is required the Customer will be liable for the additional collection cost and any labour cost that may be incurred during collection. The Seller will aim to rectify any returns within 7 days of notification wherever possible but will not accept any liability for delay beyond its control.?
COVID-19 Returns Policy and Cancellations
During the COVID-19 Pandemic, we have restrictions applied to us by our suppliers. We are unable to offer refunds on any goods ordered. We are able to provide credit notes for cancelled or returned items. With a nationwide shortage of most of our products,the majority of our orders are additional to what we would have been ordering or holding in stock, so we are unable to offer refunds.
The Seller will accept the cancellation of orders only if 48 hours notice has been given before scheduled delivery date. The Customer will incur any charges that may arise through packaging, delivery and the return of the goods to the Seller’s premises. Special orders including, but not limited to, custom orders, or other non-standard items will not be subject to any cancellation and will result in the loss of any deposits or payments made.
